Pilot Plant and Technology Innovation Centre :

Our Pilot and Technology Innovation Centre enables innovation to become manufacturable. Equipped with 50–1,000 L reactors and advanced process control systems, the AIL pilot plant enables:

At AIL Pilot Plant, every validated process is documented, digitally transferred, and ready for MPP scale-up, ensuring continuity and minimising re-engineering at commercial scale.

Multi-Purpose Plant (MPP) :

The upcoming Multi-Purpose Plant (MPP) at Jhagadia extends Aarti’s manufacturing agility with modular reactor trains, digital automation, and high-mix campaign flexibility. Engineered for diverse chemistries and multi-product operations, the MPP will enable customers to:

Scale pilot-proven processes to commercial volumes

Run short campaigns or long-term production contracts

The facility supports a wide range of chemistries by offering a broad operating envelope (–20°C to +200°C, up to 25 bar) and utilising equipment built from diverse Materials of Construction (MOCs), including SS, MSGL, Hastelloy, and PFA.

Ensure batch-to-batch reproducibility through automated control systems.

The MPP’s design philosophy blends chemical versatility with safety integrity, allowing faster onboarding of new products and expansion into adjacent chemistries.

Shared Utilities and Services :

Co-located utilities, quality control, and analytical labs ensure seamless tech transfer between pilot and plant. Designed for rapid campaign changeovers, multiple chemistries, and high-mix portfolios.
